Biography

1970 - Born in Madrid, Spain.

1984 - Begins studying decorative painting at the "Virgen de la Paloma" Polytechnic Institute.

1985 - Attends the Construction and Scenery Setting course offered by Spanish Radio and Television. At the same time taking part in drawing and painting classes given by the master Angel Pozo.

1991 - Works on the decorating sets at the 1992 Universal Exhibition in Seville.

1993 - Starts four years of study at the Academy of Art Artium Peña in Madrid with master Pedro Galván.

1994 - Recieves First Prize of Design from the Academy Artium Peña. 

1995 - Selected for the "Rafael de Penagos" Drawing Award, awarded by the Cultural Foundation Mapfre-Vida, Madrid. Spain. 

1996 - Granted the Academy Artium Peña Painting Scholarship. 

1997 - Finalist for the "VII Gregorio Prieto" National Drawing Competition. Is granted a Painting and Design Scholarship from the Palazzo Spinelli in Florence.

1998 - Obtains his first contact in art galleries, thus starting off a career in painting.
