1994:

He obtained the First Prize in Drawing at the Artium Peña Academy.

1995:

He was nominated for the Rafael de Penagos Drawing Prize, which is awarded by the Mapfre-Vida Cultural Foundation in Madrid, Spain.

1996:

He obtained the Painting Scholarship of the Artium Peña Academy.

1997:

He was one of the finalists in the VII Gregorio Prieto National Drawing Contest Additionally, he received a scholarship from the Istituto Italiano di Cultura, which included a Painting and Drawing Scholarship at the Palazzo Spinelli in Florence.

1998:

He made his first contacts with art galleries, thus beginning his professional career in painting.
